Denner is very beautiful. The exterior of their tasting room is very cool looking with all its modern architecture. From the outside, it looks very grandiose, but inside it is small-to-medium in size, and pretty cozy. It was a lovely day, sot we opted for the great outdoor seating, which looked out upon the Paso hills.

nothing wrong with pacing yourself.

Our wine host was Claire, and she is a level one Sommelier. We started our tasting with a lovely Viognier, which was quite refreshing!  Then, Claire mentioned that they have a cheese pairing plate. Yes please! She brought out this great assortment of cheeses, olives, almonds, and we opted for a side of crackers. This also came with a "wine pairing map", which was specific to Denner wines, and showed you which cheese to pair with each wine- it was fantastic! I love a good wine and cheese pairing. The third and last winery of the day on this last trip was Denner, which we had heard so many good things about, so we were very excited. On a side note, we feel that three wineries a day is the magic number for a truly enjoyable wine tasting experience.

You get to take your time with each winery without having to scramble to your next appointment.  Also, no Wine Host wants to hear “you're our 6th winery today!”, because that means either:

A.) you’re sloshed, or B.) your pallet is DONE and you won’t enjoy the wines! Honestly, there’s
