tables and three seating times (6:00; 6:30; 7:00).

You have the opportunity to accompany the dinner with a wine pairing; either the regular or the reserve tasting. We had already planned ahead to have a bottle of our 2013 Justin Focus (a Syrah which is exquisite!), decanted and waiting at our table, but also opted to split a reserve pairing between the two of us.

He even brought out the Chef, Dave Ward, to meet us, and the kitchen staff all signed our menu, wishing us a happy anniversary.

The food and wine were both unbelievably good, and each course pairing was perfect! We enjoyed the whole experience immensely, and definitely plan on doing it again in the near future.

We were greeted at the entrance of the tasting room with a glass of French sparkling wine,    Saint Hilaire, by our server, Gabe, who showed us to our table in dining room. The dining room is small, as we were one of three tables total. The candlelight ambiance with a view of the vineyards and garden was so beautiful; and extremely romantic; and private.  It was almost as if we were eating in our own dining room at home. Gabe was an incredible server with great attention to detail, making sure we had everything we needed at any given time throughout the meal.

Dinner at The Restaurant at JUSTIN-

Justin is not only a beautiful winery on top of a hill, but it also has lodging (The Just Inn) and a restaurant (The Restaurant at Justin). We had heard so many good things about the restaurant that we decided to celebrate our anniversary dinner there. The prefixed menu is seasonally picked by the executive Chef, William Torres, and most of the fresh ingredients are grown right there on the grounds, in the garden. Reservations are required for dinner, as the restaurant only has a few

*As mentioned earlier, the menu is prefixed and seasonal. One nice perk of being a Justin "Wine Society Member" is that you'll receive a 20% discount! Please click on the picture(s) above to see our specific tasting menu for that particular night, which is subject to change. The wine pairings change accordingly as well.

**Quick side note:

When you make the reservation, they will provide you with an entrance code to the gate. Don't forget to bring this with you, or you could be stuck outside (I'm not gonna say how we know this, but we just do)!
