There wasn’t a wine that Robert poured for us that we didn’t like, and all were reasonably priced.

The tasting room is a big room, with hardwood floors, wooden beams, and  lots of windows.

It's very homey feeling, with couches and a giant stone fireplace in the back. Exactly the kind of atmosphere you could imagine yourself relaxing at, with a nice glass of wine on a cold day.

For only $5 more, you can purchase a library wine - this is available to everyone.

What we tasted:

2013 Pinotage
2013 Aglianico
2013 GSM
2012 Old Vine Zin
2012 Cab

2013 Petite Sirah

Mettler Family Vineyards-

This winery was recommended to us by the people from Michael David Winery. This shouldn’t be surprising since Adam Mettler just happens to be the MD winemaker. The Mettler family is one of the oldest family names in Lodi, dating back to the 1800s; they are now sixth generation grape growers.

The winery is beautiful- it's on luscious grounds and hosts a large pond with jumping frogs!

They host private events, and our very personable wine pourer, Robert, had recently gotten married there.
