SIP certified-

SIP, which stands for Sustainability in Practice, is a certification program with strict requirements to insure that growers are protecting and preserving the natural environment, treating their employees and community with care, and have sound business practices. It takes into account the whole farm and the farming methods used, and looks at sustainable practices on every level, including: labor, agriculture, energy conservation, and water quality. One key component here is that the use of high risk pesticides, and toxic air/groundwater contaminants are strictly prohibited.
